Bhojpur: Today, the new six-lane bridge of Koilwar on the Sone River is going to be inaugurated in the district. It is to be inaugurated by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari. It is being told that Gadkari is going to inaugurate the six-lane bridge through video conferencing. During this time, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar will be connected through video conferencing as the chief guest.

At the inauguration ceremony, Union Ministers RK Singh, Ashwini Choubey, VK Singh, Deputy Chief Minister Tarkishore Prasad and Renu Devi, Road Construction Minister Mangal Pandey, Opposition Chairman Awadhesh Narayan Singh and many ministers and MLAs will be present. It is being told that with the opening of this bridge, 2 crore people can get relief from the jam. Only three lanes of the 6 lane Koilver bridge will start from today, but the remaining three lanes will be opened after a few days. The length of this new 6 lane bridge is 1526 meters, constructed at a cost of 266 crores. With the opening of this bridge, people going to Bhojpur, Saran via Patna to Bihta will get a big relief.

The old Abdul Bari bridge of Koilwar was always jammed, due to which people had to face heavy trouble. People were stuck in jam for hours here. The repair work was going on in the old bridge from Arwal, that is why it used to happen. Currently, traffic will be good between Patna, Ara, Buxar, Chapra in the south and central Bihar due to the traffic on the bridge.
