New Delhi: The weather remains dry in most areas of North India. In most parts of Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, minimum temperatures are being recorded above normal. According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), due to western disturbances, rain and snowfall are expected in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand on December 11-12.

The minimum temperature in the country's capital remains between 9-10 degree Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), the maximum temperature in the city on Thursday is expected to be 28 degrees Celsius. While the level of pollution in Delhi's air is in a very poor category. According to data from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Delhi's air quality index (AQI) is in a very poor category.

According to the Meteorological Department, rain and snowfall is expected in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. In some areas of Jammu, Himachal Pradesh and Punjab, lightning may hit on December 11. There may be thunderstorms in Uttarakhand, Haryana and Delhi on 12 December. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will be dry in Uttar Pradesh and fog will occur in some places. Whereas in Haryana and Punjab, the minimum temperature is expected to be above normal.
