In the last few days, a case came in which the black man George Floyd has died. But now the administration of the city of Minneapolis has agreed to give $ 277 million (about Rs 196 crore) to the family of the black man George Floyd to settle the case. The case was filed by Floyd's family over death in police custody.

It has been learned that Floyd's family lawyer, Ben Crump, said the Minneapolis city council agreed to pay compensation in the case. It is noteworthy that on 25 May last year, former police officer Derek Chauvin held Floyd's throat with his knees for about 9 minutes. Because of which Floyd lost his life. Derek Chauvin was a white officer.

According to information received, violent demonstrations took place in Minneapolis and other areas of the US to protest against this incident. This has triggered a nationwide debate on the racial justice system. Floyd's family has filed a lawsuit against the city administration, Chauvin, and 3 other officials in July.
