India's captain Mithali Raj has once again achieved a major feat. She has become the first cricketer to score 7,000 runs in women's ODI international cricket. He touched this figure in his 213th match during the fourth ODI against South Africa in Lucknow. Before this match, Mithali was also behind by 26 runs with a score of 7000 runs. Mithali, however, missed a half-century in this match. She came back after scoring 45 runs.

Other women cricketers are far behind this record of 38 years of Mithali. Mithali is also the first cricketer to score 6000 runs. Charlotte Edwards is the second-highest run-scorer in ODIs. The former England captain scored 5992 runs in 191 matches. Former Australia captain Belinda Clarke has scored 4844 runs at number three.

Mithali Raj, who has been the helm of Indian women's cricket for more than two decades, has become the first woman cricketer of India and second in the world to complete 10,000 runs in international cricket on Friday. Mithali achieved this feat as she completed her 35th run in the third ODI against South Africa here. He now has 10,001 runs in international cricket to his name and his average is 46.73.
