Manipur Violence Updates:  In the latest incidence of violence,  a frenzied mob forcefully entered the heavily fortified police armory located in Bishnupur district, Manipur. Their intentions were crystal clear - to procure deadly weapons and ammunition. The sought-after items were none other than the infamous AK and Ghaatak series of assault rifles, as well as a staggering cache of over 19,000 bullets of various calibers.

The incident took place at the very heart of the 2nd India Reserve Battalion (IRB) headquarters, nestled in the enigmatic terrain of Naranseina. The situation escalated to the point where the assailants laid their hands on an astonishing array of armaments, leaving the authorities in utter disbelief.

The list of plundered items was nothing short of alarming - besides the vast ammunition haul, they managed to seize an AK series assault rifle, not one but three lethal 'Ghaatak' rifles, a formidable collection of 195 self-loading rifles, a handful of five MP-5 guns, and even sixteen 9mm pistols. Additionally, they ransacked 25 bulletproof jackets, 21 carbines, and a shocking tally of 124 hand grenades. The sheer audacity and planning behind the operation left the region shaken to its core.

The intentions behind this audacious raid appeared to be tied to a somber event on the horizon - a mass burial scheduled to take place in Churachandpur. The stolen arsenal could potentially spell catastrophe, raising grave concerns among the authorities as they grappled with the impending challenge of restoring order and ensuring the safety of innocent lives.
