New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi on Wednesday announced the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust in Parliament for the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya. There will be 15 members in Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. These will include 9 permanent and 6 nominated members. After the formation, the trust has also received a cash donation of 1 rupee from the central government. It is said to be the first donation received by the Trust.

The Modi government has given 1 rupee as the first donation to the Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha area set up for the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya so that the trust can start work towards the construction of a grand Ram temple in Ayodhya. On behalf of the Central Government, this donation has been given to the Trust by D. Murmu, Under Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs. The official has said that the trust can receive donations, grants, contributions, contributions in any form from any person without any condition including real estate.

Senior Advocate Keshavan Iyengar, who advocates Ram Lalla Virajman in the Supreme Court, will join the ransom trust. The name of Jagatguru Shankaracharya, Jagatguru Madhavanand Swamy, Yugapurusha Paramanandji Maharaj will also be included in the members in the trust. Along with this, Govind Dev Giri of Pune, Anil Mishra of Ayodhya, Kameshwar Chaupal and Dhirendra Das of Nirmohi Akhara are also among the members of the trust.
