On Monday, Panchayat Raj Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao along with the Vice-Chairman of Telangana State Planning Commission, B Vinod Kumar and Government Chief Whip Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar campaigned for the TRS candidates in various municipal divisions of Warangal (West) Assembly. In this campaign Dayakar Rao has accused the BJP government at the Centre of trying to repeal reservations with privatisation of public sector entities.
He said while asking the public to stage protest with cylinders at BJP election campaigns “The Modi government failed to control the prices of LPG cylinders, petrol and diesel. Petrol price has touched Rs 100 per litre while domestic LPG cylinder price is now Rs 1000,”. To be noted that addressing the public the Minister said the Modi government has deceived people with false promises like crediting Rs 15 lakh in each Jan Dhan account, filling up two crore jobs annually and failed to set up railway coach factory at Kazipet
However, in addition to that the BJP government was trying to repeal the reservations and render lakhs of employees jobless by handing over public sector companies to private corporate forces. The Centre has also failed to provide enough medical oxygen to Telangana to treat covid patients.
