New Delhi: The distress of farmers in India has been going on continuously for many years. Despite several efforts of the Government, the problem of farmers in the country has not been solved. In this direction, the Narendra Modi government at the Centre is now working on a scheme that will directly benefit millions of farmers in India.
The Central Government is formulating a scheme to benefit farmers with the help of Aadhaar card which will curb profiteering of middlemen working between farmers and Mandis. This is because the Government can take the aadhaar number assistance very soon to directly give the farmer the benefit of MSP. This means that farmers will be benefited by the MSP with the help of their biometric information. "We are launching a pilot project in four districts of Odisha. The project will be implemented across the country if it is successful."
In fact, there have been complaints about a long time that traders and middlemen buy food grains from farmers at a price lower than the MSP and sell it to the Government at a higher price. So, the Central Government is working on this scheme for the benefit of the farmers. The scheme will also curb profiteering and directly benefit the farmers.
