Regarding this, the leader of the New Democratic Party of Canada, Jagmeet Singh has attacked India. He has expressed concern over the growing threat of violence against minorities in India. The Canadian leader of Indian origin accused the Narendra Modi government at the Center of inciting anti-Muslim sentiment and said that it should end it.

Jagmeet Singh tweeted on Thursday from his official Twitter handle that, 'I am deeply concerned about the pictures, videos and deliberate threats of violence against the Muslim community in India. Modi government should stop provoking anti-Muslim sentiments. Human rights of the people should be protected. Canada can play a strong role in establishing peace everywhere. Let us inform that on the occasion of Ram Navami, there were reports of violence from many states of India.
