New Delhi: Modi government at the center has banned 59 Chinese mobile apps that pose a threat to the country. After this order, the government has also issued instructions to Google and Internet service providers to remove the said app. Meanwhile, this information is also coming out that the government can give a big blow to China on the digital platform even further. If the need arises, then the Chinese app can be banned.

The government has banned 59 apps on 29 June itself, including well-known apps like TikTok and ShareIt. The government has claimed that information was being passed to other countries through these apps, which was not right for the country. Now the government has said that even if it is found that an app is against the interest of the country, action can be taken against such an app.

The Modi government has decided to ban 59 Chinese apps such as TikTok, WeChat, UC Browser in view of national security. The Indian government has taken this decision on Monday in eastern Ladakh amid tensions arising after the death of 20 Indian soldiers in the bloody conflict between China and the Indian Army. The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has released a list of 59 such Chinese apps, which are now banned in India.
