New Delhi: The Modi government has warmly welcomed the new education policy as the turning point of Indian history. It is a milestone for the ideological gurus of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and BJP, which took them 60 years to achieve. People of RSS cadre are very excited because their voice has been given an important place in policy drafting.

In the seventh year of the Modi government, the Sangh Parivar has got the opportunity to change the Indian education policy from the Congress era on the basis of its policies, where education means character and nation-building. BJP's allies are strongly welcoming the new education policy. They hope that their suggestion will also be considered in the final policy. However, it is being told that the government is considering to find a middle way. Either it will abandon some policies of the Sangh or they will be given a place in the alternative system."

The ministry was named Ministry of Human Resources, taking inspiration from the earlier Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) during Rajiv Gandhi's government. But now its name has been changed to the Ministry of Education. RSS's impression is also seen on this name. During the conference of the Board of Education of India in the year 2018, for the first time, the matter of changing the name of the Ministry was kept before the committee. During that time, then HR Minister Prakash Javadekar and PM Modi were also present.
