NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with BJP Members of Parliament (MPs) from Delhi, Haryana, Uttarakhand, and Odisha at his official residence here over breakfast.
According to sources, the conference included all MPs from both Houses of Parliament, as well as Union Minister Pralhad Joshi.
As per reports, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has asked Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MPs to build the party's grassroots organisation and engage with the people. "Prime Minister Modi has asked MPs to inform the public about the government's development and welfare initiatives. He instructed all of the MPs in attendance to inform the public about the central government's development and welfare programmes. PM Modi also instructed four state legislators to ensure that development and welfare initiatives reach the people ".
According to party sources, the Prime Minister has also addressed their work and given advice on how to enhance it for the sake of the common man. The Prime Minister and Members of Parliament also discussed crucial issues affecting their respective countries.It was a courtesy meeting, according to a party official, and the Prime Minister holds similar gatherings with MPs from other states on a regular basis throughout Parliament sessions.
