New Delhi: Thursday was a very important day in the history of the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of the new Parliament House today which will have modern amenities. After the Bhoomi Pujan and Sarvadharma prayer, PM Modi also addressed the meeting here. He said that today is a historic day and it will prove to be a milestone.

He said that now a new Parliament is going to be ready with the ideas of Indianness in the country, we will jointly build a new building of Parliament. When India celebrates the 75th year of its independence, the Parliament building will be its inspiration. He also said that if we praise our democracy, then the day is not far when the whole world will say 'India is Mother of Democracy'.

PM Narendra Modi said that we people of India should take a pledge that the concern of the country will be the concern for us, the constitution of the country will be the best for us, the integrity of the country will be first. PM Modi urged the people, that everyone should take a pledge for 2047 in their mind, what kind of country we want to see when the hundred years of independence of the country will be completed.
