New Delhi: A man lost his life in Delhi's Punjabi Bagh area after allegedly being stabbed by his neighbour following a dispute over Rs 1,500 in pending dues, as per the police on Tuesday. The victim, identified as Vinod alias Vinnu, was discovered dead in his Madipur JJ cluster residence on December 22 with multiple stab wounds.

The accused, Mohammad Abdulla, an electrician, was arrested on Monday. Police investigations revealed that Vinod and Abdulla had a confrontation the day before the incident over previous dues, leading to the fatal stabbing. The dispute escalated after Vinod reportedly misbehaved with Abdulla's family members.

"Abdulla came to know about Vinod's misbehaviour with his family members. Next day, he went to Vinod's place and stabbed him multiple times, leaving him dead on the spot," an officer said. He added that Vinod lived with his elder brother in the house.
