Many people believe in luck and many do not. But if you do not believe in luck then you will start doing it from today. Today we are going to tell you the story of one such player of Pakistan cricket team, on which the proverb that becomes 'overnight king' proves. The player worked as a laborer at the daily wage, but when luck struck, he was seen playing cricket for Pakistan.

Earning only 1200 rupees a month: Luck changes overnight if you do not believe this, then you must know the story of Pakistan cricket team's fast bowler Mohammad Irfan. He was from a poor family. He used to work as a laborer in a plastic pipe making factory for Gujar Basar in Punjab's Gaggu Mandi coming to Pakistan. Irfan used to get 300 rupees a week for his wages. In total, he was able to earn only Rs 1200 a month after working 8-9 hours a day. With so much money, it was difficult for him to run the expenses of the family, so in such a situation his dream of becoming a cricketer was buried in his heart for years.

Luck changed overnight: Cricket lived in Irfan's heart right from the beginning. He used to take time after wages and play tail ball cricket. He used to go to play with a leather ball as an amateur. But Irfan did not know that his luck was about to reach the seventh sky suddenly. Irfan was playing a club match when the former Pakistani fast bowler Aaqib Javed got his eye on Irfan. Aaqib recognized his talent and invited him to be included in the National Cricket Academy. He redeemed this opportunity well. Seeing the fast bowling of Irfan, former Pakistani batsman Azhar Ali chooses him and it was from this that Irfan started his journey to play in the Pakistan cricket team. When playing against Pakistan A, he took 4 wickets. Then, as if Irfan's good days started and he continued to move forward.

Opportunity at the age of 28: Mohammed Irfan achieved one major feat in domestic cricket. After this, at the age of 28, the Pakistan team got an opportunity to make an international debut. The 7-foot-long bowler got stuck in the spot-fixing scandal on Pakistani players, which was the reason behind getting a chance in the team. The team's star fast bowlers Mohammad Amir and Mohammad Asif were caught in the spot-fixing case, then Irfan got a chance to play in the Pakistan national team. Irfan made his international debut in ODIs with England in 2010, but he could not achieve much success in the debut, which led to him dropping from the team for almost 2 years. He has played 4 Tests, 60 ODIs, and 22 T20Is in which he has 10, 83, 16 wickets respectively.
