New Delhi: The 14th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is set to begin on Friday. In the first match, Mumbai Indians (MI) will take on Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). RCB has high hopes for his in-form pacer Mohammad Siraj in the 14th season. In a video released by RCB, Siraj said he wants to be the highest wicket-taker for India.
Mohammad Siraj made his T20 debut against New Zealand in November 2017. Siraj has played five Tests, one ODI, and three T20 Internationals for India so far. Siraj wants to play in three formats for India. Siraj said, "Jasprit Bumrah used to stand behind me whenever I bowled. He told me to stick to my basics and don't need to do anything extra. It was good to learn from an experienced player like him.''
Siraj's dream is to become the highest wicket-taker for India. "I have also played with Ishant Sharma, he has played 100 Tests," the pacer said. Felt good by sharing the dressing room with them. ''My dream is to be the highest wicket-taker for India and I will work hard whenever I get an opportunity.''
