Actor Mohan Babu urged the members of the MAA Association to vote for his son Vishnu Manchu in the elections to be held in two days. He wrote, "I am one of you all - I am an artist, actor, director and producer. I am also an ardent follower of Late Dasari Narayan Rao Garu, I am like his son.
It is often said that we should talk about ourselves and I believe the time has come. Further added, "Ever since I set up my production house, I have given employment to many people and provided education to the children of late artistes. I will continue to do so. It is important to understand that the post of MAA President is not a crown, It's a responsibility."
He elaborated why he thought Vishnu Manchu would be a good fit for the position. “Vishnu has inherited my qualities of commitment and discipline. He will stay in the city and solve all your problems. He is accessible to anyone and will stand by you when you face a crisis. I urge all of you to vote for him,” he wrote. Vishnu will face Prakash Raj in the upcoming MAA elections.
