As per the IMD reported today, “The southwest monsoon has further advanced into Odisha and covered the whole of the state”

The monsoon had covered the districts of Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Puri and some parts of the adjoining of Keonjhar, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Khorda, Nayagarh, Ganjam and Gajapati districts yesterday.

Report further added, “Today, it spread to all 30 districts of the state”

The MeT department forecasted heavy rains at one or two places in the center part of the state in the next 24 hours and persistence of rainfall for the next five days.
