Lucknow: In Uttar Pradesh, the monsoon has brought the people out of the scorching heat. The rain is continuing in the adjoining areas including the capital Lucknow. Lucknow recorded a minimum temperature of 26 degrees Celsius on Thursday. According to the Met department, the rain will continue for a few more days.

The Met department has predicted light to moderate rain for the next four to five days. Though the rain in the capital Lucknow may subside for some time from Friday, the rest of the state will continue to receive rain. Met Department Director J. P. Gupta said that the low pressure area in eastern Uttar Pradesh is in the offing, which has led to heavy rains.

The Met department has predicted heavy rain in parts of eastern and western Uttar Pradesh. According to the Met department, the minimum temperature in Agra on Thursday was 27 degree Celsius, Allahabad recorded 25 degree Celsius, Banda minimum temperature of 24 degrees Celsius. The Met department has predicted further drop in temperature in the state in the coming days.
