Bhopal: Nautape has come to an end on June 2 and with this, due to pre-monsoon activities, the weather has started to change. The MP Meteorological Department has not predicted any rainfall anywhere on Friday, June 3, 2022, but has issued a yellow alert of heat wave in 11 districts. The MP Met department says that at present, the western disturbance is the form of a trough over Afghanistan-Pakistan and the cyclonic circulation over southeastern Uttar Pradesh is activated. This east-west trough extends from southern Bihar and Jharkhand to eastern Bangladesh. Another cyclonic circulation is active towards southern Bangladesh. Due to this cyclonic circulation, the hot wind of Pakistan and Rajasthan can come at a high speed. It is becoming active directly in Gwalior Chambal division.

According to the MP Meteorological Department, khajuraho and datia have been recorded at 46 degrees Celsius in the last 24 hours. The same khajuraho, Nagaon, Datia and Gwalior districts have seen the impact of the heat wave. A yellow alert of heat wave has also been issued in 11 districts of Sagar division of Satna, Rajgarh, Guna, Gwalior, Datia and Morena on Friday, June 3, 2022.

According to the MP Meteorological Department, Khandwa will see the effect of north and westerly winds till June 9. A system is expected to be activated around Maharashtra on June 6-7. A drizzle with a high wind of 40 to 50 kilometres per hour has also been predicted. The pre-monsoon movement is set to start around 10th June in and around Khandwa and the monsoon is likely to hit the state by June 15. The same monsoon is expected to arrive in Indore after June 10.

The MP Met department has forecast that the monsoon may knock around June 15 this year. The first monsoon rains are set to start from Jabalpur, Sagar and Alirajpur. Gwalior division is expected to receive normal rainfall with monsoon season between June 1 and September 30. Monsoon is also expected to reach Gwalior-Chambal division between June 24 and 26. Chambal, Shahdol and Narmadapuram divisions of the state are likely to receive 103%, Bhopal, Sagar, Jabalpur, Rewa, Gwalior divisions will receive 120% rainfall in July-August.
