New Delhi: The Indian Meteorological Department has recently informed that the monsoon may once again enter the 'break' phase in the northwest and west India for about a week from Monday. In fact, between 29th June and 11th July, very few parts of the country have received rain. You must have seen that the monsoon appeared to be very weak in the first two weeks of August, which has significantly reduced the rainfall in the month of August across the country. Recently, IMD has said, "Monsoon resumed in northwest India on August 19, but is likely to weaken again from August 24.''

In fact, senior Met department scientist Rk Jenamani says heavy rain is expected by the end of next Sunday, but rainfall in northwest India is likely to be much less than Monday. At the same time, he said, "The monsoon may weaken again for at least 5 days. But heavy rain is not expected on the West Coast or northwest India. On the other hand, it will rain in the eastern states, especially in the North-East. Moreover, the plains will remain dry to a great extent.'’

Recently, the Met department has said, "During the next 2 hours, there will be thundershowers in different parts of Delhi and Baraut, Daurala, Chhapraula, Baghpat, Khekra, Anupshahr, Shikarpur, Pahasu, Debai, Narora areas." In addition, the Met department says, "Monsoon is entering the break phase. Most parts of Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, and Rajasthan will remain dry till the end of the month as the monsoon is shifting northwards. No special rain is expected in Gujarat or Maharashtra. In addition, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand are likely to receive rain, and rain is expected to continue in east and northeast India.
