Moosewala murder case: 21-year-old kabaddi player arrested, weapons given to Lawrence Bishnoi's close aide

Amritsar: Punjab Police has arrested 21-year-old Kabaddi player Jaskaran Singh alias Karan on the basis of inputs. Jaskaran is accused of supplying weapons to Baldev Chaudhary, who is very close to gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, in March. The police are now trying to find out if the weapons that Jaskaran had given to the shooter of the Bishnoi gang were used in the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Mosewala.

Police said that kabaddi player Jaskaran Singh alias Karan, a resident of Bhadson in Patiala district, had received three weapons from gangster Goldy Brar in March this year. Karan had informed the police during interrogation that he had distributed the three weapons, including Baldev Chaudhary, to different people at the behest of Brar. However, baldev later returned a weapon. The other two people he doesn't know personally. Lawrence's aide Baldev Chaudhary is already in police custody on charges of beating up a transporter and possessing illegal weapons.

Jaskaran told the police that he was a cousin of Goldie Brar and a friend of former student leader Gurlal Brar. He came in contact with Goldie Brar only through Gurlal. After the murder of friend Gurlal, Goldie Brar was in touch with him through a calling app. Punjabi singer Sidhu Musewala murder case accused Goldie Brar is believed to be sitting in Canada.
