Jammu: The deadly coronavirus wreaking havoc all around the world. As of now, the number of people who have died from this virus has exceeded 165000. The fear of this virus is spread among people. Doctors are still searching for treatment to fight this disease. The process of increasing the number of corona infected in Kashmir division continued on Sunday. After the confirmation of 12 new cases from Kashmir, the number of corona infected has increased to 354 in Jammu and Kashmir. Of these, there are 299 cases in Kashmir division alone. No new case has come out from Jammu division. A total of 55 cases have been reported so far in Jammu division. On Saturday, after three weeks in Jammu division's Rajori district, a laborer from Kotranka came test positive.

Five more patients in Srinagar were discharged from the hospital on Sunday after recovering completely. All were admitted to JLNM Hospital, Rainawadi. After keeping them in the hospital for 18 to 20 days, they have been asked to go home, but they have been given strict instructions to stay in homes in the next 14 days in quarantine. Among the patients going home, four are from Bemina and one from Chhattabal. The hospital administration said that 32 patients were admitted here. Two of them were discharged on 13 April. Five went home on Sunday. Now 25 patients are being treated here.

There will be 20 full staff present in the Health Directorate: Health Director Jammu Dr. Renu Sharma, in an order, instructed the gazetted, non-gazetted and ministerial staff to appear on general duty in the Health Directorate from April 20. All the employees on duty will fully follow the advisory issued on the coronavirus. Social distance is to be maintained in this. In view of Covid 19, work will be done to ensure the services of all medical staff to keep the health services smooth.
