Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has taken a big decision in the meeting held with Team-11 on Sunday morning. CM Yogi of the state has decided to provide employment to more than 5 lakh migrant laborers who have returned to Uttar Pradesh from different parts of the country during the last one and a half months. For this a high level committee has also been formed.
Principal Secretary Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Principal Secretary Micro, Small and Medium Industries, Principal Secretary Skill Development have been given place in this high-level committee. This committee will work on a strategy to make people financially self-reliant and strengthen the rural economy, besides providing adequate jobs and employment opportunities in rural areas.
Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath says that during lockdown, more than 5 lakh workers and laborers have been forced to return to UP from other states to provide them employment in the state itself. CM Yogi has instructed the officials that it is the responsibility of the state government to arrange for the livelihood of all these workers and laborers.
