More than 15000 laborers leave Gujarat amid lockdown

Ahmedabad: Even though lockdown has not been imposed in Gujarat amid corona crisis, thousands of people are leaving their homes from Surat every day due to the rumor of lockdown. In the last three days, more than 15 thousand people have returned to their homes. After the strictness of travel in the railway, the burden on buses is increasing.

More than 100 buses are going to UP-MP from Surat every day. The laborers' family has been forced to leave their homes once again and go to the village. laborers' are migrating towards his own state in number of thousands through buses every day from the Pandesara area called industrial area. Nazir Sheikh, who has been earning a living in Surat for the past thirty years, left Surat with his family for his state Uttar Pradesh. 

Nazir has said that business has been closed for a month. Every day someone or something comes to the fore, it seems that the government will put a lockdown at any time. Everyday deaths are due to corona in the city. There is an atmosphere of fear, so they are going to their village. There are thousands of workers like Nazir Sheikh, who are migrating from Surat to their village.
