Patna: LJP chief Chirag Paswan has suffered another major setback after the debacle in the Bihar assembly elections. LJP President Chirag Paswan's blow is not given by anyone else but JDU party of Nitish Kumar, who was once his partner. More than 200 LJP leaders, including former MLA Rameshwar Prasad Chaurasia, have joined the JDU. All these leaders joined JJDU in a meeting held at the state office of JDU in Patna on Thursday.

JDU leaders RCP Singh and Umesh Singh Kushwaha received the membership of the party from LJP. Among the leaders who joined the JDU, the president of many cells and the district president are also included. LJP leader Ramnath Raman Paswan accused LJP national president Chirag Paswan of serious charges. Paswan termed Chirag as a thug and said that the leader who has not been born in Bihar, what information will he have with respect to Bihar? Describing LJP as a party of thugs, he said that no one can save Chirag Paswan from going to jail.

Keshav Singh, who joined JDU, accused Chirag Paswan that LJP had damaged the NDA in the last assembly election. He said that LJP had done such a trick in collusion with RJD. While welcoming LJP leaders, JDU President RCP Singh said that today 208 people of LJP have joined JDU. He said that the party will be strengthened by their arrival.
