Ranchi: A big case of negligence has come to see in Garhwa district of Jharkhand where a woman had mixed poison in milk to kill a cat in Medhana village under Sadar police station area. The cat did not drink that milk, but her own son drank it. After drinking poisoned milk condition of 12-year-old child started deteriorating, family members reached Sadar Hospital with child on their lap. The doctor started treating the child and after some time he told that the condition of the child is better than before. If there was a little delay in bringing Sadar Hospital, the situation could have worsened.
After this incident, the child's mother told that the cat in her house was harassing her. In order to kill the cat, she mixed the rat-killing medicine in milk. But she did not even think about that what if her own son would drink. The woman said that she didn't told anyone at home that she mixed poison in the milk. Her son came from outside and drank milk without asking and his health deteriorated. Doctors says that the child is now out of danger.
At the same time, the villagers are shocked by this carelessness, the villagers says that everyone should take a lesson from this incident. The child is fine now, but this mistake could have left the family with a wound of lifetime. Civil surgeon in the district, Dr. Dinesh Singh said that people should not do such negligence. If there was a slight delay in bringing the child to the hospital, it would have become life-threatening. People should not keep pesticides in their homes.
