Chhindwara : Popular mountaineer Megha Parmar has joined the Congress. She joined the Congress due to the Nari Samman Yojana organized in Chhindwara today. She said that the contribution of former CM Kamal Nath ji has been important behind her success. Megha said that if Kamal Nath had not been there, I might not have been able to conquer Mount Everest.

Megha Parmar said that instead of film actresses, Kamal Nath made a farmer's daughter the brand ambassador of 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao' campaign. She said that her journey of success started not from any big platform, but from her small village. And Kamal Nath has been the biggest contributor in taking her to the biggest peak of the world.

Further, she said that she wants to give the contribution of Kamal Nath ji for taking a girl studying in a government school and living an ordinary life in the village to such a height. Megha Parmar had conquered Mount Everest in the year 2019 and she is the first woman from Madhya Pradesh to do so, after that recently she has created a new world record by doing technical scuba diving of 147 feet (45 meters). Along with this, today she has formally taken the first step in politics by taking the membership of Congress.
