ANUPPUR: MP Chief Minister, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, has unveiled plans for the construction of 'Maa Narmada Lok' in the Anuppur district of Amarkantak. The announcement came following CM Chouhan's worship of the Narmada River at Amarkantak. He expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to worship Maa Narmada, highlighting her significance as a symbol of luck for Madhya Pradesh. He emphasized the widespread faith in Maa Narmada, which not only holds spiritual importance but also contributes to the state's prosperity.

CM Chouhan praised the multifaceted blessings brought by Maa Narmada, including her provision of drinking water, irrigation for agricultural fields, and the generation of electricity through hydropower. He extended his wish for continued blessings and well-being for the people of Madhya Pradesh.

Furthermore, CM Chouhan revealed plans to establish a comprehensive blueprint for the construction of 'Maa Narmada Lok' in Amarkantak. He emphasized that the final design of this spiritual complex would be determined after consultations with local saints and scholars.

Given the influx of millions of devotees who perform the parikrama of Maa Narmada, Amarkantak's suitability as a location for 'Maa Narmada Lok' was highlighted by CM Chouhan. This initiative aims to provide a dedicated space for spiritual and cultural activities related to Maa Narmada.
