Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh's new Governor Mangubhai Patel has taken the oath of office and secrecy today i.e. Yes, as per the information received, Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court Mohammad Rafique administered the oath at 11.30 am at Raj Bhavan. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, State Congress President and Leader of Opposition Kamal Nath, Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra, and former Minister PC Sharma were present during the function. Let me tell you all that Governor Patel had reached Bhopal late last Wednesday evening. During this, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had received him at the State Hangar.
The Chief Minister was accompanied by Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra and senior officials of the state government. Talking about the same swearing-in ceremony, the Covid Protocol was followed during this period. A total of 100 people including officers and staff were present at the event, though the auditorium of Raj Bhavan has a seating capacity of 190 people. An invitation was sent by Raj Bhavan to heads of political parties for the function. On the other hand, Mangubhai Chhaganbhai Patel has made a statement on the appointment of the President as the Governor of Madhya Pradesh.
