Mumbai: MP Navneet Rana and MLA Ravi Rana have been imprisoned in the controversy over Hanuman Chalisa recitation in Mumbai. Last night, both were shifted to different jails. The court has sent both of them to judicial custody for 14 days. The police have also registered a case of sedition on them.

Let us inform that when Navneet Rana and her husband were arrested on Saturday, BJP Kirit Somaiya had reached the police station to meet them. It is alleged that he was attacked while leaving the police station. Kirit Somaiya has accused Shiv Sainiks. At the same time, the police have registered a case against unknown people in this case.

After this, late in the evening Navneet and her husband Ravi were arrested by the Mumbai Police.
