Elections to the three Rajya Sabha seats being vacant in MP have been postponed. Coronavirus is believed to be the main reason for the postponement of CT. Due to this, the concern of both Congress candidates - Digvijay Singh and Phool Singh Baraiya has increased. The reason for their concern is the diplomacy adopted by some party leaders to send the Rajya Sabha, giving first preference to Phool Singh Baraiya, to entice Congress high command to cast their votes.
Now there is a possibility of mobilizing the party leaders due to getting more time in the elections, due to which the concern of both the leaders is clearly visible. Three members of Rajya Sabha from MP, Digvijay Singh of Congress, Prabhat Jha of BJP and Satyanarayan Jatiya are going to complete their tenure on April 9. The conditions which were in favor of the Congress before March, now they have come in favor of BJP because the effective number of members in the Vidhan Sabha has won BJP candidates in two seats.

Earlier this math was reverse. Congress was to get two seats in the Rajya Sabha. This situation has arisen due to Jyotiraditya Scindia's resignation from his supporters and other legislators after he joined the BJP. If he was not successful, his journey to Rajya Sabha became difficult. However, instead of Scindia, he confirmed his seat by making Phool Singh Baraiya a candidate. Digvijay Singh had no idea of his growing opposition in the party.
