Bhopal: Nowadays there are constant talks about love jihad. A case has recently come up that is from Shahdol in Madhya Pradesh. Jyoti, who married Irshad two years ago, has given a statement. Recently she said, 'Irshad used to torture him to learn Urdu and Arabic forcibly.'

Irshad has been arrested by the police. Recently, Jyoti told a media report, 'Two years ago I was married to a Muslim boy by Muslim custom. Then after that, his family members started pressuring that our Muslim customs should also be learned.' She told, 'Husband's family used to say all these things to me. He was pressuring me to learn Urdu, he used to slap me every time. If it doesn't suit me, I come home. I want to live in Hinduism. '

In this case, on the basis of the complaint, the police have arrested Jyoti's husband Irshad Khan in Madhya Pradesh Freedom of Religion Act 1968 and torture. However, these days many states are engaged in their own action to make a strong law about love jihad.
