Hyderabad: Home Minister Amit Shah arrived in Hyderabad on Saturday to participate in the campaign for the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation election. Shah received a tremendous reception here at Begumpet Airport. Former BJP president Shah then offered obeisance at the Bhagyalakshmi temple in the centre of the district. After visiting the temple, he held a roadshow in Secunderabad. During this time, a huge crowd of people gathered on the road, on which Shah was greeted with flowers. He will then go to the BJP office and hold a press conference.

He had informed that the Central leaders of BJP are coming to Hyderabad to expose the corrupt government of TRS. In the process, UP CM Yogi Adityanath reached Hyderabad on Saturday. He did roadshows here and addressed a meeting late in the evening. BJP National President JP Nadda had a roadshow in Hyderabad on Friday. In the wake of the campaign, Adityanath said that some people were asking him whether Hyderabad's name should be changed to Bhagyanagar. He said 'why not'.
