Lucknow: BSP MLA Mukhtar Ansari from Mau in Uttar Pradesh can be shifted to UP jail within four days. There is a plan to shift Mukhtar to Banda jail in UP before 8 April. It is being told that Mukhtar will be brought to Banda Jail by road. Additional Chief Secretary Home of Punjab has written a letter to UP Additional Chief Secretary Home Avnish Awasthi expressing his concern about Mukhtar's safety.

It is written in the letter that soon after the transfer of Mukhtar Ansari's custody, he will be taken to Banda Jail in UP. The Amarinder government of Punjab has asked the UP government to hand over Mukhtar Ansari to the UP police before 8 April. However, the letter also mentions Mukhtar's hearing on a case in Punjab on 12 April. But this hearing will be conducted through video conferencing. In the letter, Punjab's Additional Chief Secretary Home has expressed concern about the safety of Mukhtar Ansari and asked to make strict arrangements. 

Along with this, Mukhtar has also been asked to provide medical arrangements in the jail. The Punjab government has also expressed concern about Mukhtar Ansari's health in the letter. Not only this, while managing the vehicle for the shifting of Mukhtar, it has been said to take care of his medical reports as well. It is written in the letter that while taking the handover of Mukhtar Ansari, make proper security and medical arrangements. Along with this, it has been written in the letter that during the time of production with video conferencing in Mohali court, 12 should be made solid in jail.
