Raipur: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has taken a big decision to implement the “Mukhyamantri Mitan Yojana” in all the 44 municipalities of the state.
In a statement released on Tuesday, Chhattisgarh announced that it would extend the "Mukhyamantri Mitan Yojana" to the state's 44 municipalities. People will be able to apply for certificates and other required government documents from the convenience of their homes under this plan.
This programme is now being conducted in 14 of the state's municipal corporations. Since the program's start on May 1, 2022, 96,258 people have taken advantage of its benefits, according to officials.
Since the implementation of this programme, citizens are no longer need to swarm Municipal Corporations, Tehsil, and other government offices in order to obtain the essential certificates and official documents.
The state officials report that 1,13,234 persons have contacted the toll-free number 14545 to order official documents. According to officials, this programme has proven to be a great benefit and convenience for senior folks, Divyangjan, labourers, farmers, women, and ordinary individuals.
Under the Mitan Yojana, various documents, such as birth certificates and ration cards, are being issued. Under the Mukhyamantri Mitan Yojana, the following services, records, and certificates are available: a copy of a land record, a domicile certificate, a scheduled caste/tribe certificate, a certificate for another backward class, an income certificate, a death certificate, a marriage registration and certificate, a certificate for birth, documents pertaining to correction, documents for shop and establishment registration, a certificate for correction of a marriage certificate, a certificate for correction of a death New Ration Card Making, Ration Card Transfer/Surrender, Ration Card Correction, New APL Ration Card, Ration Card Missing Case, Name Addition / Deletion in Ration Card, New BPL Ration Card, Aadhaar Card Address and Mobile Number Correction.
To take advantage of the Mukhyamantri Mitan Yojana, dial the toll-free number 14545. Once the appointment has been scheduled on call, Mitan arrives at the applicant's house at the appointed time and day, gathers the necessary paperwork, and uploads it to the portal after having the tablet authenticate it. After analysing the applicant's paperwork, the verified documents are forwarded electronically to the relevant departments that provide the certificate. After the certificate is issued, it is delivered to the applicant's house by Mitan, as per the official statement.
