Mumbai: Arjun Tendulkar, son of Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar, will now be seen playing IPL. In the IPL auction 2021, Mumbai Indians bought them at a base price of 20 lakh rupees. Arjun Tendulkar's name came last. As soon as his name came up for auction, Mumbai Indians director of operations Zaheer Khan bid him. Apart from him, no one else showed interest in Arjun. Along with this, Arjun will also be seen playing for Mumbai Indians like his father Sachin Tendulkar. The cricketer Sachin always played for Mumbai in the IPL. He was the icon player of this team. Later on, retiring, he became a mentor of Mumbai Indians. Now Arjun will officially learn the tricks of the game from his father.

Arjun Tendulkar seemed sure to go to Mumbai Indians. Before the auction, it was being said that he would play for Mumbai only. Arjun is a left-arm bowler and batsman. The way his name came in the IPL auction 2021, a lot of questions also arise. His name was not spoken even once in the entire auction. Later at the end of the day, his name came in the form of the last bid and he was elected. Whereas the rule is that the names of all the players are auctioned once in the first place. If not selected there, then the franchisees are asked which players they want to auction again. After this, all the teams give their names according to their requirements. The auctioneer then calls the names of these players in the bid.

But this did not happen in the case of Arjun Tendulkar. His name was not even called earlier. Then for the second time when the names of the selected players were asked, Arjun's name did not come. For the third time, when the last five names were put up for auction, Arjun Tendulkar's name came, on which Zaheer Khan bid. After buying Arjun, Mumbai tweeted, 'Cricket is in his blood. He has improved through the nets. Now he is ready to bring the storm to the pitch of 22 yards. Welcome to the house, Arjun Tendulkar.'
