Mumbai: BJP leader and MLA Prasad's statement threatening to demolish the Shiv Sena building in Mumbai has been widely discussed so far. The Shiv Sena mouthpiece Saamna has now responded to this. In an editorial in G Darsal Saamna, the BJP is written on Hamalwar, "The statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is hoisted in his saffron flag in the building of Shivesana." At the same time, hitting out at the BJP in the match, it says, "Shiv Sena Bhawan has a statue of Balasaheb Thackeray as well as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and his saffron flag is hoisted in the building. It disturbs some people, so there are talk of attacking and ransacking the Shiv Sena Building.''

Earlier, in his threatening statement, BJP MLA in Maharashtra Prasad Lad had said, "Our office was being inaugurated in Mahim. I had received calls from several police personnel who had requested that Nitesh Rane and I should not go there or at least if we go, we should not rally.''

Moreover, BJP MLA Prasad Lad had also said, "I said in my address that when we come to Dadar-Mahim, such a big police security is deployed here as if we were going to attack Shiv Sena Bhawan. I have apologized for my statement. You must be aware that BJP MLA Prasad Lad had threatened to attack and bust Shiv Sena Bhawan in the past.
