These days the crime against women are increasing day by day but in a shocking incident reported from Maharashtra's Navi Mumbai, A policeman allegedly molested an 18-year-old IIT-Mumbai at Palm beach road on Friday night. As per the information, The victim had approached Sanpada Police station but she was threatened to not register the case.

The victim filed a zero FIR at Powai Police station. The FIR was then transferred to Navi Mumbai. The accused police constable has been arrested now. According to the student, the victim came to Sanpada from the IIT campus in Powai in Mumbai late on Thursday night to meet a male classmate.

As per information, After strolling on Palm Beach Road, they decided to return to IIT by taking the first local train of the day at 4.08 am.  They started roaming in the area to kill time. A police team in a patrolling vehicle questioned them around 3 am and left when they showed their ID cards and explained why they were there. After this a constable arrived on a two-wheeler a few minutes later and started questioning them.

According to the complaint of the victim said, the police constable allegedly asked the male student to sit on the motorcycle and leave the woman behind. The constable then asked the girl student to sit on his two-wheeler but she too declined. The policeman allegedly molested her, and tried to force her to accept the ride. As it caught the eyes of a car driver. He stopped his vehicle and came to their rescue. Police took accused cop's blood samples to determine whether he was under the influence of alcohol.
