National Investigation Agency seized weapons during searches conduct in Telangana And Andhra Pradesh. Let us share in brief that in Connection to Munchingput Maoist case, NIA conduct search operation in  that seized Sickles, an axe, machetes, CPI (Maoist) literature and electronic gadgets.

For your information let us share that the NIA conducted searches at 31 locations spread across eight districts – Visakhapatnam, Guntur, Prakasam, Srikakulam, Kurnool, Krishna, East Godavari and Kadapa in Andhra Pradesh and four districts – Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal-Malkajgiri and Medak in Telangana in the case relating to furthering the activities of CPI(Maoist) in Andhra Pradesh in the guise of frontal organisations.

As per reporting it is noted that investigation revealed that Naganna was ostensibly working as a journalist and was passing information about police movement to leaders of CPI(Maoist). He was also allegedly involved in instigating villagers to obstruct combing operations of police and prevent them from entering villages and motivating the villagers to revolt against the police parties and hold rallies against the government. Till now, six accused persons – Pangi Naganna, Anduluri Annapurna, Jangarla Koteswar Rao, Manukonda Srinivasa Rao, Rela Rajeswari and Boppudi Anjamma – have been arrested in the case, according to a press release issued by NIA on Thursday.
