In Tamil Nadu, Hundreds of Muslim members at Tauheed Jamaat staged a protest with families in Muslim attire against the Citizenship Amendment Act on Saturday. Demonstrators gathered near the Alandur court, raising slogans and placards, demanding to take the Citizenship Act return. According to police sources, there was no untoward incident, strict security arrangements were made in the demonstration.
