Damoh: A Muslim man in Madhya Pradesh's Damoh district has been given a gulal tilak on his forehead by a Hindu man. After this, the Muslim community has boycotted the person of that Muslim community along with the family. Then the Muslim man has expressed objection against this boycott, complaining to the District Superintendent of Police. After this objection, the police officials have explained to the people of the community. Police officials say that the way a young man from a Muslim community is being treated. This is socially as well as legally wrong and if something like this happens in the future, the police will not sit quietly. 

The incident took place in Tejgarh village under Tejgarh police station in Damoh, Madhya Pradesh. Arif Shah, son of Abid Shah, who lives in Tejgarh, said that people keep coming to their homes and these include people from the Hindu community as well as the Muslim community. He said that recently some people of Sanatan Dharma came to his house to meet him. At that time, some Hindu brothers' people put tilak on his forehead. This tilak was not planted with any intention. After that, when the news of this came to the head of his Muslim community and the people considered senior in the society, he was boycotted. Not only have they boycotted, but their entire family has also been boycotted. The victim, who was a victim of public boycott, told the police about the complaint that his mother had passed away. After the death of his mother, he had called his family and friends during the shradh, but sadly, no member of his community attended at that time. 

The victim says that this is not the first time that he has been treated like this. Even before this, there was a marriage in his house and he had invited many people of the society for the marriage, but no one attended the wedding. He told that a lot of his  food was wasted due to the absence of people from the society in the marriage. Along with this, he also lost a lot of money. He gave full information to the police about the behavior of the people of the society. Damoh Superintendent of Police Rakesh Kumar Singh has assured to take action after the complaint of the victim. On the instructions of Superintendent of Police Rakesh Kumar Singh, the additional superintendent of police of the area called people from the Muslim community. The SP said that the police have explained to the specific people of the society and it has been told that it is not right for a person to boycott socially. If such an incident happens again later, the police will not sit silent and legal action will be taken against the culprits.
