New Delhi: Indian scholar Shahabuddin Razvi Barelvi has rejected the statement made by British Labor Party MP Naaz Shah regarding human rights in India. He said that Muslims are living peacefully in India and interference of other country in any internal issue of the country will not be tolerated. Taking a jibe at the British MP's remarks, Islamic Research Center (IRC) director Razvi said that the UK MP's statement is irresponsible.
Praising India for being fair to Muslim minorities, he said that all Muslims in the country live in peace and brotherhood. We do not have to bear any kind of discrimination in the country. He said that, 'We conduct Namaz, Ajan and Jalsa, that too with complete freedom. Nobody has any problem. As far as Kashmir is concerned, it is an integral part of India and always will be. Razvi further said that, 'All Indian Muslims believe that Jammu and Kashmir was and will always be an integral part of India. There is no dispute regarding this matter. Muslims are happy in India, we want prosperity in India, which is one of the most developing countries.
Along with this, Razvi asked the British MP and Pakistan not to make rhetoric on India's domestic issues. He said that, we do not like anyone else's interference in the issue of Kashmir and Hijab. Interference of any other country will not be tolerated. Let us inform that Rajvi's remarks came after the British MP's tweet, in which the UK MP wrote that I would request Prime Minister Boris Johnson to stand up for human rights and not to humiliate us on a global scale with his ignorance. In India, it is more serious to run bulldozers on the homes of Muslims in the midst of increasing tension.
