After launching Jio Mart, Reliance Jio has now entered the Unified Payment Interface (UPI). It is reported that Reliance Jio has given the support of UPI payment in My Jio app, at present, only a few consumers are getting this feature. According to entrackr's report, the option to add a virtual payment address (VPA) and UPI ID is available in My Jio app. Earlier, a report came in which said that Reliance Jio is in talks with Axis Bank, ICICI and State Bank of India for UPI payment.

On Twitter, a user has also shared a screenshot of the UPI payment feature of My Jio app. The report says that My Jio app is also asking for the users' UPI IDs. After this, the consumer has to give a mobile number, debit card number and bank account. After signing in, the My Jio app also looks like other UPI payment apps like Google Pay and Phonap. While Jio has not yet officially confirmed this, it is being told that Reliance Industries Limited has declared the third quarter results.

The company said that the consolidated net profit for the third quarter of 2019-20 was Rs 11,640 crore, which is 13.5% higher than the previous year. Jio has also gained a bump in the third quarter. In its result, Reliance Industries Limited said that as of 31 December, the number of subscribers of Jio has crossed the 37 crore mark. In the last 12 months, Jio has added 13.57 million subscribers, while one crore 48 lakh new subscribers have been added in the last quarter.
