Bollywood actress Jiah Khan bid farewell to the world on this day. Her real name was Nafisa Rizvi Khan. Jiah Khan's father left home when she was just two years old. Jiah Khan was about to start her Bollywood career with the film 'Tumsa Nahin Dekha' when she was 16 years old but for some reason things did not work out. She then started his Bollywood career with the controversial film 'Nishabd' which starred Amitabh Bachchan with her.

She did suicide at his home in Mumbai on June 3, 2012 at the age of just 25. Her mother had then accused actor Suraj Pancholi of inciting Jiah Khan to commit suicide. Suraj Pancholi was Jiah Khan's boyfriend at the time. Jiah Khan had gone through many pains before her death. Before committing suicide, Jiah Khan had written a six-page letter accusing her Suraj Pancholi of abortion and assault. Suraj Pancholi was also behind bars for some time in this case. However, Suraj Pancholi never held himself responsible for Jiah Khan's suicide. Hee had said that Jiah Khan was heavily burdened with work at a young age and was mentally disturbed because of this.
