Today is the birthday of the famous superstar of South Indian films, Akkineni Nagarjuna. Nagarjuna was born on 29 August 1959 in Chennai. Nagarjuna worked as a child artist in 1967 in the film Sudigundalu. Thereafter, in the year 1986, he made his acting debut with the Telugu film 'Vikram', which was released in the year 1983. It was a remake of Hindi film 'Hero.' This film was a super hit. Then he acted in many big films. 

In the year 1984, Akkineni Nagarjuna married filmmaker D Ramanaidu's daughter Lakshmi Daggubati, the two have a son named Naga Chaitanya. Nagarjuna and Lakshmi's marriage did not last long. After about 6 years, both of them got divorced in 1990. Nagarjuna then married actress Amala Akkineni, both of whom have a son Akhil Akkineni who was born in 1994. 

It is said that Nagarjuna was in love with the famous Bollywood actress Tabu and Tabu also loved her very much. Both had met during work and then both of them fell in love with each other, at that time Nagarjuna was married but still the affair of both continued. According to reports, the affair of both lasted for a long time, both were in a relationship for about 10 years but they could not get married. Nagarjuna used to love Tabu but he did not want to break his marriage either. So he did not marry Tabu and both of them separated from each other. Tabu loved Nagarjuna very much, so she left Mumbai and settled in Hyderabad. Tabu is also not married yet.
