The Indian National Congress on Saturday blamed the government of Pakistan for the alleged stone pelting and sloganeering incident on Nankana Sahib in Pakistan, saying that Imran Khan's government should ensure the safety of this holy site. Randy Surjewala, the chief spokesperson of the party Tweeted that the attack on Nankana Sahib Gurdwara was a shame on humanity's ideals and religious values Ali's event. The government of Pakistan is directly responsible for this attack. We strongly condemn this incident. He said that the government of Pakistan should ensure the safety of Nankana Sahib.

What other proof do they need? He further said that this incident clearly shows the difficulties faced by religious minorities in Pakistan. As an Indian and a Sikh, I do not consider all those people secular and sensitive who are sitting with their eyes closed to the truth of these excesses and oppression.
