Mumbai: A new page has opened up in the life of veteran Maharashtra leader Narayan Rane. He has become the first cabinet minister to be sworn in in the expansion of the Modi cabinet. Yes, and he has been made minister of small and medium industries. Let me tell you all that in a simple program keeping in view the Kovid period, President Ram Nath Kovind administered the oath of office and secrecy to him. The program, which began at 6 pm last Wednesday, administered an oath of office and secrecy to 43 ministers. Narayan Rane topped the list of 43 ministers. Because of this, he was the first to be sworn in as a minister.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Vice President Venkaiah Naidu, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and all Union Ministers were present on the occasion. Let me tell all of you that Narayan Rane, once a staunch Shiv Sainik, joined the Congress in 2005. He joined the BJP in 2018 through the Maharashtra Swabhiman Party. He became the Rajya Sabha MP and became the first Cabinet Minister to be sworn in in the Modi Cabinet last Wednesday (July 7). As soon as Narayan Rane was sworn in, his son Nitesh Rane thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the same.

At the same time, he said, "The Importance of Narayan Rane has not been understood by the Congress even in 12 years, which the BJP understood in two years. The BJP understood what Narayan Rane was worth, what his weight was in politics, and respected his work. Congress repeatedly promised, but never fulfilled it. The BJP made me an MLA in a year and a half gave my elder brother a chance to work for the state BJP.''
