Narada scam: Mamata Banerjee surround in trouble, reaches HC against Bengal CM CBI

Kolkata: The Narada sting case is taking a new turn every day. CM Mamata Banerjee's trouble in the matter is set to escalate. In a petition seeking transfer of narada case outside West Bengal before the Kolkata High Court, the CBI has mentioned mamata banerjee's name. On May 17, CBI in Kolkata arrested two ministers related to the scam.

This was followed by a ruckus by TMC activists in the premises of the CBI office. CBI has made Mamata Banerjee and TMC leader Kalyan Banerjee and Malay Component a party. CBI in his petition has also questioned the conduct of CM Mamata Banerjee. According to PTI, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee and Law Minister Malay Ghatak have been made parties in an application filed by the CBI seeking transfer of narada sting case out of the state.

Earlier, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had also arrested West Bengal Ministers Farhad Hakim and Subrata Mukherjee in the case and the four were taken to presidency jail in Kolkata on Monday night. A hospital official said, "Chatterjee and Mitra complained of breathing problems at 3 am after which they were brought to the hospital. Both have been kept in the woodburn ward of the SSKM hospital. His condition is stable now."
