New Delhi: NASA is working for new discoveries in space. In this direction, it is now trying to get samples from a new planet, Bennu, and take samples from there. NASA also has to say that during about 150 years, the planet will come very close to the Earth, while it can cause large-scale damage to the Earth. It is a very long time, but in view of these things, NASA is trying to take action.
Broadcast online: Nasa's website says that according to GMT, the space test vehicle is going to broadcast online to reach near the Planet Benu at 21 o'clock. The spacecraft is going to return to Earth in September 2023 after 3 years. The project has cost $1 billion and NASA hopes to open up the secrets of the 4.5 billion-year-old solar system from its sample. The hidden planets are believed to have been born during the genesis of the solar system.
Osiris spacecraft reaching close to Bennu: NASA has sent a test spacecraft Osiris Rex into space. The spacecraft is going to be very close to the hidden planet Benu today (Tuesday) and start its investigation there. NASA says it will later send the robot, then the robot can collect samples from there and send the sample to the Earth. Osiris Rex is a small form of ordination, spectral interpretation, resource identification and exposure and its task is to bring samples from the Benu-hidden planet. NASA has selected Benu from 500,000 hidden planets and is now being sent to the spacecraft.
Japan had sent Hayabusa, the first to try to bring samples: The US space agency has successfully tested the spacecraft's attempt to reach the planet twice before. Since the test vehicle Osiris Rex is 29 million kilometres away from the Earth, the signal sent from NASA takes 16 minutes to reach there. Osiris Rex is the first US spacecraft to be sent to a planet, in 2005, Japan sent its Hayabusa test vehicle to a hidden planet. It brought a sample deposit from the surface in 2010. After which more vehicles were sent but no samples surfaced.
